Lady Gaga's career has spanned the globe and back when it comes to the world of fashion, dazzling with the unexpected, puzzling with the other worldly, and stunning with glamour. The latest campaign, though, might be our favorite as it pulls in one of the very best couture has to offer: miss Donatella Versace.
Gaga has just been confirmed as the official new face for Versace, which I suppose should come as no surprise to anyone. She wore 3 Versace pieces in her SNL appearance alone, and an additional 3 this past weekend at the American Music Awards.

And goodness, does Gaga ever channel Donatella! Donning a waist lengthy, stick straight, platinum blonde wig for the AMA's and in the ad campaign, Lady Gaga looks strikingly like Donatella circa 20 years ago, a perfect achievement for the fashion campaign.

Of the new Versace campaign, Donatella said, "I am honored that my friend Lady Gaga is the face of our new Versace campaign... I wanted to capture her true beauty and spirit in images that are elegant and alluring. She is like family to me, the embodiment of the Versace DNA."

So with the new campaign, collection, and even a song titled "Donatella" on Gaga's album, we're pretty sure this was a match made in fashion heaven.
