Princess Diana’s Dresses on Display at Kensington Palace

She was dainty, mild natured, and oh-so elegant.  And now, 5 of Princess Diana’s most famous dresses will go on display in an exhibition at Kensington Palace starting March 26, 2012.

The display will showcase the black silk taffeta gown by Emanuel that Diana wore to her first official engagement with Prince Charles back in 1981.

People will also have a chance to see an ivory silk dinner dress and a fuchsia silk chiffon dress, both by Catherine Walker.  A black silk shift dress by Versace, and a black and white cocktail dress by Bellville Sassoon will finish the collection.

What are your thoughts?  London anyone?
