Nail Polish Inspired by Georgia O’Keeffe!

Ok, so I couldn’t resist writing about this coz I thought it was just so cool!  I’m a firm believer that art imitates art, and ultimately imitates life, and iconic painter Georgia O’Keeffe was a genius visionary who could capture life in it’s most artistic form.

So it seems only natural, and odd at the same time, that the fashion world would take inspiration from Miss O’keeffe… in this case, in the form of new nail polish!

Rescue Beauty Lounge founder Ji Baek blogged that she “feels a genuine kinship toward Georgia’s art and work,” further detailing her creative stimulation from channeling O’Keeffe for 128 days straight.

The result are 7 bold and vibrant colored lacquers, many named after O’Keeffe paintings.  And we love them!  This gives a whole new meaning to the term “nail art.”

What do you think?
