There are so many endless reasons why to love the colder months... hot chocolate, pumpkin spice latte, fireplaces with a cat or little doggy on the lap.... and fashion like this look above!
While so many folks turn to dark colors, predominantly black, browns, and gray palates, why not add some unexpected elements to your look? Like blush tones and charcoals.
Blush tones scream feminine without going overboard on ultra girly pink tones. And the great thing about blush is that you can layer it in several pieces without feeling like one of those pink coconut pastry puffs.
This look bridges textures as well, pairing a tiered furry blush jacket over a cream corset top and billowed skirt. The long necklace serves as an excellent bridge between the top and bottom, which then brings us down to those amazing socks!
Why have cold weather without over the knee socks? They're the perfect accessory for the fall, allowing us to wear our skirts and shorts and still stay pretty warm. Socks like these are paired wonderfully with chunky, strappy heals.
So what do you think? Want to give blush or tall socks a whirl?
