Valentine's Day Outfits for Singles or Daters!

Happy Valentine's Day!  Well... almost!  Whether you're all about celebrating this holiday of love, or think it's a Hallmarkish kinda cheesy day, I like to celebrate it for one main thing: red!

That's right folks!  Red will shine gloriously as the hue of the day, and why not have a little fun and join in the color crash?  Best of all, whether you're traversing this day single and oh-so fabulous, or boo'd up with a date, there are so many ways to wear red, it's silly.

For those feeling the love, go big or go home!  I love this all red jumper, for example, accented by a gold chain belt and accessories.  Gold has a delicious way of bringing out the rich tones of a fire engine red.  Plays nice with nude too.

Pop of color anyone?  Opt for a bold red statement accessory like a handbag and heels.  Looking for something a little softer?  How about a vibrant red mini skirt with an oversized grandpa sweater?  Squeezably cozy every time.

What To Wear: Lovely Valentine

Happy Valentine's Day! Many typically become Scrooge-ish around this time of year (hopefully you're not already shouting "Bah Humbug!"), yet this special day is simply a celebration of love for yourself and for the many special people around you. So celebrate!

In lieu of V-Day, we wanted to showcase a few stylish looks for those of you who may still not know what to wear. Whether you're heading out for a date night with your sweetheart, or are going to treat yourself to something special for your own dose of TLC, rocking a fun look is a must!

This darling outfit is super fashion forward. The chunky fur vest adds the perfect bit of texture over the semi-sheer chiffon blouse, giving it a warm winter feel. We are swooning over the high-waisted flare skirt in that bold shade of rose red! It gives this look the perfect pop of color. Rocking a bold red lip along with a metallic clutch and matching ballet flats all come together to create a super cute fit.

The edginess of this look is what caught us. It rides the line of casual and dressy by combining pieces that aren't usually worn together. Adding a cool leather jacket over an elegant dress is an awesome way to make any lady-like look instantly edgy. Keeping it simple, the black opaque tights and ankle booties are all that are needed. And the crimson red lip adds just the right touch of femininity.

For more of an upscale ensemble, this look definitely takes the cake. The dramatic ruffles on this single-shouldered ruby red dress make it quite elegant.
