The Season Ahead of Us

Alexander McQueen has a simple but also very flattering style prepared for us in the near Spring/Summer season. The style has a fun and simple short trench coat style with tie around waist for a flattering fit. The style can easily be imitated with a short trench style coat and crochet dress for layering. Another approach can be patch work denim and funky fun hippie pants. Try a natural hair style with minimal make up and neutral tone sandals with a chunky heel. Also, combine crochet style dresses with hippie floral print for a fun McQueen inspired style.

Summertime Shine: How To Wear Neon

A bold yet beautiful hue has hit the 2013 streets. This bright trend known as neon has become a key ingredient for summertime. Neon was first discovered in 1898 by British chemists Sir William Ramsay and Morris W. Travers. Since then, it has transitioned from street signs to today’s fashion. If worn properly, you can totally transform yourself from plain Jane to sleek and chic in a matter of minutes. Here are some summer must-have essentials to vamp up your style profile:

With the right patterns and prints, you can truly incorporate neon without looking tacky. Remember to neutralize and contrast in the right manner to avoid knocking someone’s lights out. What neon color will you dare to wear?
