There’s a period in between the seasons where technically it's still summer, but it's starting to feel like fall. Let’s call it fashion limbo, because what do we wear? Let’s not forget the rule: “Don’t wear white after Labor Day”. We don’t want to walk out the door looking like we are out of season. So we are stuck in between not wanting to wear our summer styles like vibrant maxi dress and festival bright floral styles, but we also are not trying to wear our thick knit sweaters and dark plaid prints just yet. Layering Light

As much as some of us would love to start layering on fall clothes it may not be possible due to the lack of the weather’s cooperation. Those of us closer to the southern borders are still experiencing warm weather. So layers on layers is not ideal at the moment, rather laying light is.
