Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2012 Photos!

While you may still have to wait to see the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2012 on TV December 4th, we've got the highlight photos for you to check out!

We're not sure what's hotter... the fashion, the 42 models, the performers, or the wings!  But when you put them all together, you have one unforgettable Angel experience!

Massive and ellaborate, the looks spanned all sides of the fun fashion spectrum, from ringmaster-inspired circus pieces, to Angels in Bloom garden looks, to the Angeles of the silver screen.  The wings were even more glorious and creative than I've seen in shows past, and it appears the Angels legs grew even longer!  Sheesh!

Oh!  And let's not forget that $2.5 Million Bra hand crafted by London Jewelers!  Here it is on the lovely Alesandro Ambrosio (below) who was paired with giant orcid wings!

Throw in a delicious dose of Justin Bieber, Rihanna, and Bruno Mars into the mix, and things are really hot!

Well the results are in and we have re-elected Obama as President.  Various measures have passed, and others failed.  And whether you voted Democrat, Republican, Independent or other, the important thing is (assuming you're old enough) you voted!  

It's important that we take the time to voice our personal opinions and take action in efforts to exercise our right to free speech and democracy.  That's what this country is founded on.  And heck, let's face it, voting is fashionable!  Well, at least I like to think so!

Look We Love: Leather and Denim

Happy Monday everyone!  Since yesterday we officially turned back our clocks for the fall/winter seasons, I wanted to blog about a combination look that we're currently drooling over for the colder months ahead.  Enter:  leather and denim.

We've all got a pair of leather pants, or at least considered a pair, but have probably all come to the same crossroads... what the heck to I wear with these?!  While there are several obvious options like a muted sweater, or something girly to offset the toughness, you may not have thought about denim.  In this case, a chambray top.  

First of all, I love the deep blue color of the leather pants, and the paneling.  It removes some of the stigma attached to black leather pants, and gives the element of the unexpected.  Pairing deep blues with a chambray top effortlessly blends together.  And in this case, adding another blue tone to the mix in the form of a layered blazer puts the final touches on a tone on tone look.

The neutral gray booties work seamlessly with the color palate, and the boho fringe bag keeps it chic and casual.  Top it off with a silver necklace and even a headband, and you're ready to rock your leather!

All 12 of Carrie Underwood's CMA Awards Dresses!

Talk about instant makeovers!  Carrie Underwood got 12 of them.... in one single night!

Yes, we were warned... the day before the 46th Annual Country Music Awards, Carrie Underwood tweeted to her following fans that she would wear 12 (yes 12!) dresses throughout the show.  And she wasn't kidding around!

Carrie looked simply gorgeous in dresses from designers like Reem Acra, the white and floral frock she wore on the red carpet, to Jenny Packham, to Jovani.  Each dress sharply different from the next.

And what's even more impressive is each gown was accompanied by a different hairstyle, accessories, and sky high shoes.  Imagine, all those changes, feverishly designing new hairstyles, and making it on stage in time to deliver her next piece with calmness and class.

Celebrity Halloween Costumes 2012!

Have you recovered from Halloween yet and the classic post-sugar slump?  Or did you stay in and avoid the trick-or-treaters all night, watching a romantic comedy?

Whether you celebrated Halloween in costume or not, the celebrities sure went all out this year!  We saw some of the classicly predictable costumes like sexy pirate this, and sexy nurse that... but what we love most are the celebrities who got a little more creative, and weren't afraid to look a little silly in the process!

Here are some of our favorites!  And to start us off, I just had to slip a pic in of my handmade costume!  I went as a candy cane!  Miss Candy Cane to be exact! ;)

Ellen's costume is hands down my favorite!  She went as Sophia Vergara in her famous Emmys dress.  Not only was this clever, but so hillarious!  Just look at the high heeled feet resting on top of Ellen's tennis shoes!

 

 Kim Kardashian went with something predictably skin tight, dressing as catwoman while KanyeWest went as Batman.  Did we mention there was a gold Batmobile involved?  Miley Cyrus donned a huge yellow wig, leopard body suit and pink lips to become Nicki Minaj.  Are those ass cheek implants included?

 Nicole Richie matched her daughter with ballerina costumes while trick-or-treating, and Debbie Harry worked her legs in a cancan dancer outfit, while Bette Middler dressed as Coco Chanel, complete with signature pearls.

 

Supermodel Gisel Bundchin went all out in headpiece and blue eyeshadow to transform into an Egyptian Pharaoh, and Dita Von Teese looked especially  dapper as an androgynous French person.

 Jennifer Lopez and beau Casper Smart coordinated their looks as sort of Native American hippies, while Neil Patrick Harris, David Burtka and their twins dressed as characters from The Wizard of Oz.
