Britney Spears' New 2-in-1 Perfume

Well the consummate perfumier has done it once again, and we're not the least bit surprised.  The pop diva and X Factor judge has released her 11th perfume product, a repackaging of her popular "Fantasy" and "Midnight Fantasy" scents.

And what's so special about this re-release you ask?  The scents come as a 2-in-1 packaged bottle, joined together in the center as a twist on, twist apart bottle. When together, you get a round glass ball complete with heart charm.  And if you just want one on its own, simply twist to release.

Britney tweeted about the new campaign with some behind the scenes shots, and then exclusive shots from her yin/yang shoot were released.  The fragrances will be available at Kohls this month.  What do you think?

Britney Spears’ $20,000 Sports Bra!

Ok ok… we’ve seen the million dollar bra stalk the runway a few times at a Victoria’s Secret show, and have heard myths of various other high priced braziers, but now a $20,000 sports bra??!

Britney Spears is out promoting a new game called Twister Dance, and she recently tweeted a photo of herself in a custom fitness bra called “Eternal Love Bra” by Body Rock.  First of all… the girl looks smoking!  Nice abs Brit!

Now, you may be scratching your head as to why the heck this bra costs so much!  Well here are the golden deets:  It has an 18K gold zipper.  Along with the zipper, it has an 18K gold removable tassel with diamond eyed skulls and hand cut Swarovski crystal hearts that you have the option of wearing long, double, or triple. 

The front and the back of the bra is encrusted with more silver diamond Swarovski crystals… oh, and don’t forget gold pyramid studs.  And to top it off… it’s made of silk.

Now I know exactly what you’re thinking:  Why the heck would I wear something like that to sweat in??  Well here’s your answer:  You don’t.  This bra isn’t made for working out, it’s more like your post workout attire for the athletically minded fashion gal who likes diamonds and gold on her décolletage.

Britney Spears’ Engagement Ring!

Yes, you heard right!  Britney Spears is getting married!  Her talent manager and agent boyfriend Jason Trawick just popped the big Q on his 40^th birthday last week in Vegas. 

Designed by jeweler Neil Lane, Trawick slipped a round white diamond ring around her finger, which features about 90 small round diamonds along the band.  After the party, soon to be Britney Trawick tweeted, “Tonight was one of the most magical nights of my life.”

MTV VMA’s – What Everyone Wore!

I know that yesterday’s blog was dedicated to Beyonce’s revealing of her pregnancy on the MTV Video Music Awards, and that I showed snaps of what she wore.  But I wouldn’t be doing the event, which is as much about visual stimulation and fashion as it is music, justice without also blogging on some of the wardrobe highlights spotted on the black carpet.

Selena Gomez looked ravishing (and revealing) in a short-to-long (major trend alert) lace Julien MacDonald dress with an equally revealing back.  The simple updo really underscored the elegant high collar.

Britney arrived a little more understated than I expected in a Moschino romper, paired with black patent leather Gina booties.  The every curvy newlywed Kim K rocked the show in a floor length silver sequined Kaufman Franco frock.  Heads up, silver sequins are definitely the Fall trendy buzz words.

I thought Kelly Rowland was one of the highlights in a gold detailed dress with feathered skirt by Falguni & Shane Peacock.  She added spiked Christian Louboutin pumps to finish the look.  And Miley Cyrus looked pleasantly mature in a dress by one of my personal favs, Roberto Cavalli. 

And of course, Jo Calderone (aka Lady Gaga) made “his” televised debut suited and booted by Brooks Brothers.
