Urbanistas of the week! #Attitude

Crop sweaters look good with high-waisted jeans, leggings or skirts. You can add a statement necklace to a striped crop sweater like these striped options to turn casual comfort to a lovely luxe look. 

2. Fabulous & Fierce 

 

Dancing diva Meshamour shows us what fierce really looks like in our black booties and long-sleeved crop top! We love how she shows a little bit of skin and elongates her legs by pairing black bottoms on black shoes.

3. Urban Uniqueness 

 

How cool is 6lackadaima in these leather joggers and our toe cap booties? This gal has some serious, city style. Black on black is always chic, especially when detailed touches of gold are incorporated. The hat, fingerless gloves and sheer stockings make it super unique to her style.

Instagrammer Vanessa_govea in our lovely, leatherette skirt paired with neutral colors. We love how smooth and sophisticated this look is.

MIX IT UP! Add a splash of color to your outfit

The easiest way to make sure you're not clashing? Take a spin on the color wheel! No seriously!

Colors across from each other on the color wheel are called complementary and are very visually appealing when paired together! Or pick three colors that sit next to each other to the color wheel- like yellow, green and blue. You can always dare to think out of the color wheel but this is a great tool for when you are thinking of what you could wear with a new outfit! 

So in case you need more outfit inspo- here's a little bit more:

Looking to add a bit of color but don't want to splurge on a new outfit? Make your accessories and shoes the pops of color over a neutral top and jeans. We loved these cranberry heels- they are perfect for fall and can easily be worn casually or dressed up. Turquoise and other natural stone jewelry is on trend and compliments those heels perfectly!

Other easy combos herringbone/stripes, stripes/hounds tooth, plaid/polka dots.

Breaking news: The maxi has been reinvented!

You've probably seen maxi skirts and dresses before. They are an ultra classic and comfortable summertime essential. But what about the maxi shirt?

Maxi Shirt

The maxi shirt is a long length top with slits to your waist line or highlow hem to waist. It pairs perfectly with leggings or skinny jeans and is an ultra edgy twist on the maxi. Best of all its a non brainer into the fall.

Speaking of which, the traditional maxi may not seam like it but you can totally wear your maxis into the fall and even winter.
