Met Gala is an annual fundraising gala to benefit the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute that takes place in New York City. The Met gala was this past Monday and the theme was Manus x Machina Fashion in an age of Technology. The exhibit explores the evolution of dressmaking from hand made haute couture to machine made fashion and how the two sides of fashion are now coming together in very creative ways. 

It was a vague theme at best so all types of looks came down the red carpet for the event this year. From the metallic silver futuristic looks to the gowns actually embedded with technology. Here are some of our favorite looks from the Gala.
