Happy Summer Solstice everyone! It is officially the first day of Summer (a day early this year!) and we are so excited as not only is it the longest day of the year, but we're all revved up for some fun, colorful Summer styles!
Summer is about being outside, catching some safe sun, bright colors, dresses, and sandals, and we've picked out some of our favorite Summer staples to get you looking blazing hot this season!
The maxi dress! We all need one! Maxi is the length of choice for an everyday-to-night look. It's the perfect all around dress that works as a day look, an evening look, and doubles as a cover up for the beach!
Bikini time! This one is obvious! Every girl needs a fresh and fun colored swimsuit this season. I love ones with bright bold patterns and some frills, like the layered texture of the top on this one, to add some more curve.
Bold colorful denim shorts. These are a fun way to switch up a classic look that you might have already been wearing every year, the jean shorts. Try them with a splash of color to brighten not only your style, but your mood! A great way to accent your lovely gams too.
Summer wouldn't be complete without a lovely, fun, easy breezy summer dress. Pick ones with flirty V cut necklines, short hemlines, and a swingy skirt which flatters every body type.
The romper. You may or may not have one in your wardrobe, but I think it's a must. It is so effortless and chic, and best of all, super simple! Accessorize with a belt and jewelry or wear it on it's own to the pool, these are a perfect summer staple.
The little color dress! It's time to give the little black dress a rest, and bring out some color in your lovely evening wear. Adding a bold color to your going-out look will liven your style and add a new dimension to your ensemble. And trust me, all eyes will be on you!
Go neon! I can't say it enough! Neon is in full swing now, and if you can't bear the thought of wearing the ultra pigmented hues, try a more subtle approach like this semi-sheer neon green blouse.
Cover it up! I absolutely love pareos and they come in all colors which makes them a perfect way to cover up at a pool or beach party! They are so elegant and effortless, a definite summer must.
