Once again, Kim Kardashian graces the cover of yet another magazine, this time Allure's March issue. This mag feature particularly caught our attention because it's strikingly different than the usual Kardashian spreads--bodacious hair, plenty of sultry makeup, and a skin-tight dress seem to sum up the typical get-up we're used to seeing. Yet for this soon-to-release Allure issue, Kim is sporting nothing but a basic tee and an "au naturale" look. Perhaps it's a way of showing her humanity eluding to her starting fresh per her infamous 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries of the New Jersey Nets. Regardless, she admittingly looks gorgeous.
As much as we'd love to say her seemingly flawless face is makeup free, Kim's bare beauty look can't be completely labeled as natural, considering that, according to Allure, the makeup artist used "a red-brown pencil on the upper and lower lids...swirled a bronzy cream foundation on Kardashian’s cheekbones and dabbed on a pink-beige lipstick" to achieve this look. Nonetheless, it's much more refreshing to see her in a (for the most part) realistic light, without the glamorous makeup and Photoshop manipulation.
What do you think of Kim's simple beauty look?

NYC Fashion Week: Donna Karan!
Have you been watching the stunning events and shows unfold at New York Fashion Week? Whether you're attending shows in person, or watching online on LiveStream, there have been some truly remarkable shows that have taken my breath away, and my newly rejuvenated obsession in Donna Karen has definitely topped the list.
With stellar lines, clean cuts, razor sharp angles and bold hues, Donna Karan's collection is not only a remarkable commentary on the contemporary woman, but a line that is wearable straight off the catwalk. Something relatively rare in the broad scope of runway shows.
It's a mix of masculine and feminine, sprinkled with tuxedo cuts and pinstripes, and topped with fedoras. And let's not forget the gorgeous and very sexy gowns lined with sequins.
Here are some of my personal favorite pieces straight from the show! What do you think of the collection?

What To Wear: Lovely Valentine
Happy Valentine's Day! Many typically become Scrooge-ish around this time of year (hopefully you're not already shouting "Bah Humbug!"), yet this special day is simply a celebration of love for yourself and for the many special people around you. So celebrate!
In lieu of V-Day, we wanted to showcase a few stylish looks for those of you who may still not know what to wear. Whether you're heading out for a date night with your sweetheart, or are going to treat yourself to something special for your own dose of TLC, rocking a fun look is a must!
This darling outfit is super fashion forward. The chunky fur vest adds the perfect bit of texture over the semi-sheer chiffon blouse, giving it a warm winter feel. We are swooning over the high-waisted flare skirt in that bold shade of rose red! It gives this look the perfect pop of color. Rocking a bold red lip along with a metallic clutch and matching ballet flats all come together to create a super cute fit.
The edginess of this look is what caught us. It rides the line of casual and dressy by combining pieces that aren't usually worn together. Adding a cool leather jacket over an elegant dress is an awesome way to make any lady-like look instantly edgy. Keeping it simple, the black opaque tights and ankle booties are all that are needed. And the crimson red lip adds just the right touch of femininity.
For more of an upscale ensemble, this look definitely takes the cake. The dramatic ruffles on this single-shouldered ruby red dress make it quite elegant. And because the dress makes such a bold statement, the simple cascading earrings, gold cuff and pointed toe pumps give it all a classy feel. Thanks to that amazing sequin clutch purse, this look is definitely luxe and compliment-worthy.
We hope you've gained some inspiration, and wish you all a lovely Valentine's Day! Love and be loved!

Peace, Love, and Hippies
Headbands. Flowers. Tie-dye. Fringe. Bell bottoms. The hippie movement was a monumental moment in fashion. Many of today's trends are a blast from the past with a few twists here and there. What we love about the hippie look are the unique pieces being layered like loose shirts dipped in colorful dyes, oversized printed ponchos, and colorful maxis. The free-spirited clothes and accessories accomplish a comfortable, carefree yet trendy emsemble. A mix of hippie and modern pieces are one of our all-time favorites. With that said, we will leave you to scroll through these beautiful images.

Christian Louboutin 20th Anniversary Capsule Collection
Most all of us know the name… Christian Louboutin. And nothing more really needs to be
said. And if you don’t know the
name, you likely know the signature style (red-soled shoes anyone?)
The Parisian designer is celebrating his 20th
anniversary with a special capsule collection featuring 20 of his favorite shoe
styles and 6 must have classic bags.
Drool!
My favorite pieces have the be the feather strap bag, and of
course, the rocker spiked shoulder strap bag… an homage to the city of Paris
(also the bag’s name) which features crystal-covered landscapes of the city’s
landmarks. Must. Have. Now!
Take a tour of the collection here, and on his facebook
page! What do you think?

Round Eyes
While round sunglasses have captured the hearts of many before, round sunglasses are making a comeback but this time with more striking colored frames and lens. Among the many styles to make its appearance this season, we are looking forward to round sunglasses being reinvented. Although a little variety is nice, we still love its classic look as seen on celebrities such as John Lennon, Lady Gaga, and Mary-Kate Olsen. The versatility of round specs allows for outfit possibilities to be endless. Tortoise shell, round sunglasses, especially, are a necessity among your collection of bright colored sunglasses. Easy to match with anything, tortoise shell, round sunglasses provide the extra oomph to your outfit!
